A Worthy! Gathering for A Cause!

I was heartbroken recently when I was made aware of an impoverished community identified as having very high rates of sexually abused children. Women and older youths have been the focus of Worthy! over the last few years, but in the past year I have increasingly been moved by the stories of young CHILDREN affected by trafficking and domestic violence - here in the U.S. and abroad; and this is a concrete step of action in that direction. 

So back to the community I was mentioning above, I am partnering with 2 non profit organizations [CRACO & CLAC], one of which is on ground to design a year long program where victims of abuse, and family members in desperate need of hope will be supported not only with Worthy! resources and workshops, but also with physical health and public health resources.

To help fund our year-long initiative in 2024, I am hosting a Worthy! Gathering on Saturday January 20th, 2024 at 6pm. It will be an intimate (virtual) time of sharing stories, live meditative coloring and journaling. As we enter a new year, it will be a space curated for your soul and spirit to be refreshed, inspired and for hope to be infused. At the event there will also be a brief presentation with pictures and stories from the December outreach [that your purchases also helped support!] to provide some insight into what your support is funding.

The $30 registration ticket covers the cost of shipping 1 surprise gift from the Worthy! shop to you, and 100% of the rest goes toward the initiative to support children and families impacted by sexual abuse in the poverty-stricken Odo-Ogun community in Nigeria.
